In response to Jason's side of the story to TM from Van Alstyne (correct spelling). Most mechanics warranty their work. No one asked him to warranty a used car, just the repairs done by Frisco Automotive and Transmission, which he was all too happy to do at the time. He changed the timing belt, but we have discovered pre-existing damage, that he knew about and that we could not have seen unless it was taken apart. Jason never mentioned the pre-existing damage done to the engine when the first timing belt was not changed. (Wouldn't you want to know?) He masked more serious issues which explains why he was not forthcoming with the original owners contact information (the name on the title). He was selling a vehicle for someone else. The facts come down to one thing, covering up, hiding and selling a car that needed a new engine. It would have been nice to have received ALL the facts concerning this car.
