Review content:
This appraiser took my money and did not do his job. He appraised my house for the purchase value from several years ago. When we pointed out that he had valued my home at the very same price point as his comparison sales of homes that were 5-10 years older than my home, some in inferior condition (mine is in good condition) and 150-200 sq feet smaller than my home, he refused to consider more appropriate comparisons. Two other appraisers have now appraised the home as appreciating 7% from its purchase price.
