I picked up a rock chip in my windshield today on my way to work. I called MS Glass from work and was able to make an appointment for later in the day. They promised about 20 minutes for the repair and that's all the time they needed. \r \r After filling out the order form I went out to fetch a newspaper to read while I waited. Someone from the shop ran out to tell me that being a MINI Cooper, the rock chip repair would NOT be invisible and that all they could do was stop it from spreading. They were smart to do that because I would have been incensed if I'd gotten the result I got without prior warning.\r \r Indeed, the chip is still visible, although less damaged looking than it did before the repair. I appreciate that they told me what to expect beforehand - while I am unhappy for my windshield, I respect the company for being up-front. The cost was $40 and I would not hesitate to bring another vehicle there, as the experience was otherwise painless.
