Review content:
I used to take my dog to VCA Northside Animal Hospital, and I used to be very pleased with their care. The vets were kind, gentle, and knowledgeable, and the staff was pleasant and responsive. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, Northside has had a high turnover rate for veterinarians and other staff members. Some pet owners I know would attribute this to Northside's takeover by VCA. While I don't know any reasons behind the turnover, I was very disappointed to see so many excellent vets leave. I can't say with any certainty that my pet's care was compromised, but I soon felt it was time to make a change. I have since found a different vet in the area and feel that my dog is getting better care and more careful attention.
One nice feature of VCA Northside is that the entrance and exit are separate, which helps control the flow of animals.
I can't say that VCA Northside is a poor veterinary hospital, but I also don't think I would recommend it, unless your pet needs emer
