I have only once ever been to a Vet that cost 1000 X more than most!!!!!!! They tried to charge me $70 for a prescription I had filled at The Fred Meyer Pharmacy for $5!!!!!\r
The vet actually lied to me about how a urinary track or bladder infection is detected in a dogs urine - I guess she wasn't counting on me being educated about this issue since I have been in the Pure Breed Dog Rescue for over twenty years and then if that wasn't bad enough the female vet gave me a estimate for $355-$450 just to get the urine, send it to the lab (instead of just testing it with test strip there) and fill the prescription at the office. The guilt trip she laid on me and the explanations she gave for the outrageous charges were just absurd! I feel for the people who go to this vet for help and how they are so taken advantage of. IT IS JUST WRONG FOR THESE VETS TO PRAY ON PEOPLES LOVE FOR THEIR ANIMALS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM
