Like any average guy these days, I must admit I am not able to work on my own car - they are too complicated. When my 2002 Toyota Camry started slipping and shifting rough, I first went to my dealer. What a mistake I almost made! In a few minutes they had me looking first at a whole "new" transmission for over $4,000 and then guided me to the new car salesman for a quick solution! Luckily I found East Coast Transmission in Alexandria where they repaired my original transmission for a lot less - and with the same kind of warranty. This all took just a couple of days and I feel it was a great value.
