I would never recommend this Vet to anyone: The Vets don't know how to listen, and the receptionists are rude- I've spread this story to our neighborhood meetings, any UPMC-employed pet owner that we know (we've worked there for years), and any pet owner we know: In mid-October, I specifcally asked Dr. Miggins to provide vaccinations for boarding our dog for the next 6 months. When I went to board her in January, the kennel called and said that they could not take her because she was not up-to date on her distemper shot. Not only did Dr. Miggins NOT acknowledge that he had made this mistake, he advised that we had to bring her in for a regular office visit ($42) to get her shot. While I already argued that we had paid for an office visit less than 3 months ago, would be willing to pay for the necessary shot, and ASKED SPECIFICALLY to have her ready for the kennel--he chose to ignore me. I promptly pulled my dog out and found a friendlier vet, who would not charge an office visit to cov
