They DO SO send work out! I needed a small diamond replaced on a ring. For some reason, they had to send it to Chicago! And it took almost exactly a month to get the ring back. They weren't even cheaper than the mall jewelry stores where I've had the exact same ring worked on before (and they took only a week, tops!). Sorry, I won't be returning. Work isn't local, takes too long, no price difference from other stores.
