At Freed's we try to please each and every customer. However, it is not always easy to solve problems arising from consumers who are unhappy with products that were special ordered. These orders are custom orders, and cannot be canceled or returned, unless there is a factory defect. This policy is printed on every invoice as well as being posted in our cashier's office. If we allowed customers to place special orders, and then return them once they were produced, we could have a showroom full of one-of-a-kind items that we never would have bought. Most retailers simply are not able have such a liberal policy. Although this consumer states that this issue was escalated to Mr. Freed, I certainly would not have handled this situation in the manner described above. I have no idea who this consumer is, and I am very much appreciative for him or her choosing to furnish your home with us. I would never have refused to allow you to return a $200 item you were unhappy with, especially if there
