For me, Max Weiner's store is the ONLY place to go for an appraisal for insurance purposes. His prices for appraisals are competitive, and the appraisal is completed on-the-spot (time permitting at the store and depending on the number of customers waiting). Max creates a full-sheet, thorough, laminated appraisal for you to take home with you. Laminated appraisals are the way to go because they cannot be folded, stuffed into an envelope, and lost or accidentally thrown away. Max's experience in diamonds is unbeatable. He has the best certifications in the industry. For the selective, he carries a fabulous selection of estate jewelry. I have seen his staff work with their customers, and they treat everyone well. In reply to the one negative review I read by a writer who had tried to sell jewelry that had little resale value, I want to comment. The writer had said that Max was a 'snob.'
