Review content:
I've been wanting to visit Willie Bird's Restaurant for the past 3 years now. Every time I've driven by all I could think about was Thanksgiving dinner and how this place always seems to have a full or semi full parking lot. Tonight my loving girlfriend decided to treat me to a dinner of my choice, and yes- Willie Bird's was my choice. Tonight we sat in the bar. Comfortable seating with a beautiful HD flat screen tv located at one end (muted). The hostess as well as our server were great. They were real people- I devoured their prime rib dinner with turkey and barley soup. I also partook in an IPA or 2 while Lori enjoyed the Mama Bird sandwich with a yummy glass of zin. Bread pudding and vanilla ice cream was our topper for the evening. We spent 48 bucks pre tip, and I can't think of another restaurant in this area that has such great food for so little money. I was expecting a bill approx. twice that. Now that I'm home- I'm wondering why I didn't order the open faced turkey sandwich.
