I decided to try BFMC because I was feeling so awful, and didn't want to wait for an appointment with my normal doctor (whom I'd not seen in two years anyway). I got there before the clinic officially opened and still waited an hour and a half to be seen. The nursing staff was great, but the doctor I saw was a self-absorbed know-it-all who didn't listen to a word I said. She diagnosed a 104.8 degree fever, nasty cough, low blood sugar, and low blood pressure as an anxiety attack. Because my white blood cell counts appeared to be normal. She told me she would prescribe me a mild antibiotic, something "over the counter" (direct quote), and then actually prescribed Levaquin.
