I did not realize how incredibly important it is to have your air ducts cleaned. I had a friend who used the Mad Hatter Air Duct Cleaning service, so we gave them a call. They came out and gave us an estimate, not a bad price for something that you only have done once in a blue moon. Our house is approaching 20 years old, and the technician pulled one of the vents off, and showed us there was about 4 inches of black goop that shouldn't be there, gross!! They got it all cleaned out and we are good to go for awhile. The tech explained how unhealthy all that goop was, and I must say it did not look healthy.
