I agree with the comments regarding the front office staff. There must be 6 employees working the front office, and they are all too busy to ask about your pet or make a comment. If you try to talk to them they brush you off. I am not talking about engaging them in coversation that takes them away from their work, they just FAIL at the ability to comment about anything. (Oh, they do talk amongst themselves).\r

I also agree the vet office up charges and up sells everything. That being said, I have yet to find a vet in Southern CA that doesn't. They have a huge markup on prescriptions, and there are some prescriptions I could buy at the costco pharmacy if they would write me a prescription. When I lived in Northern CA, I had a cat vet, a dog vet, and an Avian vet. All three vets would sometimes do something without charging. Like when the cats were in for an exam and shots, the vet or tech would trim the nails at no charge. Or, they would explain the human equivlant in medicat
