Review content:
In sure of a new dental office, my son and I needed cleanings so we made appointments. The person who cleaned my son's teeth suggested sealants. I said to check my insurance to see if it was covered. They came back and said it was because he was 15 and coverage was through 15 years of age. Ok, lets do it. After the fact I received a statement saying "we thought the insurance would cover more, but they didn't." I called my insurance company and was told sealants were covered in patients up to the age of 15. But that's not the way it was said to me. I feel I was mislead to the highest level. The dentist even did a sealant on myself and never told me about it. I asked the assistant what was the $50 charge for and found out then. The prices are extremely high and not explained completely. I warn all to be careful of your wallet. The smile isn't for friendliness, it's because they got you.
