After 34 weeks which is approximately 51 hours of in class ?treat/clicker? training plus the home training, practicing the techniques every day for 9 months, my pup is not trained. It didn?t work. I really wanted it to because I believed the bs that this is the ?new and improved more humane? way to train your dog, but it is an emotional hook to get you to keep paying again and again because you attend another class and another and another. The problem is never with the training it is with you and your dog. There never is any guarantee that the methods will work. \r

My 13 lb. rescued pup is dog aggressive based in fear. I even took a ?reactive? dog class where I was told my dog would probably always be reactive, ?you can?t control the dog only the situation.? By the end of the 6 weeks she was better (not great) with the dogs in class because she was use to them, but let a new dog come in and she exploded. When she did explode, whites of eyes showing?teeth
