Review content:
I am the owner of a 10 month Golden Retriever(my 3rd). He is a beautiful, intelligent & high spirited dog. I vowed when I got this pup that he would be trained and well mannered.I went to the pet store for an 8 week training, bought 80% of the recommended supplies and tried to learn how to juggle a clicker, leash and treat with 2 hands!? There was a slight improvement in behavior, however I ended up with a treat demanding dog. I had to find another trainer and began researching training methods.I wanted control of my dog and not vice versa. I found this site and read the comments about A-1. I asked around town and heard nothing but positive feedback. After 5 weeks I am the owner of a more well behaved pup who is eager to learn and walks like he is in a show ring. With the signal of a hand he will assume the position of the command.Steve Nixon is a phenomenal trainer and generous man who is available to his client's at all times. Steve is a diamond in the rough, for which I will continue
