Review content:
I recently joined the SB athletic club based on a friend's recommendation. I am not a "gym" person, I prefer outdoor exercise - however I wanted to take some yoga classes and improve my overall fitness after several surgeries in the past 2 years. I have been thrilled with my experience at the athletic club, and find the higher cost well worth it. The instructors for the classes are top notch. The facilities are conveniently located. I love the open air spinning room, and they have loads of new equipment and great trainers. The staff are super friendly and helpful. As someone who hates a typical gym atmosphere, I enjoy the fact that this is much more than a gym, but a private club that has a restaurant/cafe, and social events such as film nights and cooking classes. If you just want to work machines and leave, this may not be the place for you.
