I used Apartment People two times in my 5 years in Chicago (both the Belmont location and the Evanston location). My very first apartment was great. They listened to me and helped me find the right neighborhood and apartment within my price range and needs. They take the time to drive you to each showing and help you complete all the paperwork, etc. The only negative is the credit check or administrative fee they charge (which they agreed to waive for me the second time since I was a repeat customer). This helps to make looking for an apartment easier as they have keys to many places and set up appointments to see the places for you.
