Sharon has groomed by girlfriends family poodle for years, so naturally when we found a pet of our own we went straight to her for grooming. The second time our poodle was groomed here, she was shaved down completely rather than her normal cut, supposedly because she was matted from playing in the rain the day before. I was never called and asked if this was acceptable beforehand. \r
While shaving her Sharon cut an inch wide gash under our dog's front leg. It was deep enough that 3 staples were required for treatment. I again never received a call until after our pet had been shaved, stapled, and the grooming was then completed. They called me saying she's ready to be picked up... oh by the way, she has a little cut from the clippers. The Vet who treated her was for some reason unable to speak with me when I picked up our pet, and never returned my calls despite multiple attempts to contact him.
