I am a single parent, and my two sons are away at college so when I needed to have a flapper replaced on one of my toilets I decided to call Tindall and Ranson. I called last week to schedule an appt. and was told they were booked for a week. I didn't mind because I have two more toilets in my house. I asked how much it would cost and they told me the labor would be $69.00 and whatever the cost of the flapper would be. I figured a flapper would be around $5, and I had a $25 coupon which they sent in the mail. I thought, OK, I could probably do this myself but the cost was reasonable for a plumber to come out and do it for me. They were supposed to arrive today between 12 and 2, and they finally arrived after 3 p.m. While the plumber was here, I asked him to look at my other toilet since I bought the two toilets at the same time and I thought I would save another labor charge in case the other flapper needed replacement.
