One time I had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere during a heavy rainstorm, and this was back during the days when cell phones weren't handy, so after hiking for a mile and a half without seeing so much as a light or a passing car, I found myself stumbling over the fence surrounding an abandoned abattoir. I kicked open a window and slipped inside to escape the rain. The place smelled of congealed blood and death and foul excrement. I swear I could hear the ghosts of cows and pigs long slaughtered screaming that night as I rolled around in the dry hay, trying to sleep through the booming thunder.\r

I prefer this abattoir to any location in Millbridge Apartments. \r

Note to the black savages who live there: stop screwing each other in the laundry room. Seriously. Go get jobs.
