Being a first time parent and working mom, I was stressed when choosing when and where my daughter would attend preschool. My husband and I waited until she made a year old before looking. We decided on Kid Academy after visiting the facility and being impressed with their professionalism, security and hours (6 am-6:30 p.m.). I knew my daughter would be safe and well attended. It also helped that the school was a few minutes from our home. After Katrina, the owner closed the Creosote Rd. facility and left the Pass Road school open. My husband thought we should look for another school for our daughter closer to home. After shopping around, it was obvious that Kid Academy was worth the drive. Our daughter has thrived at this school. The faculty, staff and management love and know her. I couldn't have chosen a better preschool experience for our daughter. We receive weekly reports of her academic progress and monthly breakfast/lunch menus. They offer children an opportunity to show their
