My beagle-mix is like my child so I always monitor her treatment in vet offices. We previously lived in Prairieville and went to Dr. Luikart. After moving to Denham Springs, we wanted to establish a relationship with a closer vet and tried Dodge City. The first time we brought our dog in to see the vet, we saw a lady and were very satisfied. Unfortunately, that was not to be repeated. First of all, they do not allow you to accompany your dog for toenail trims. My dog was absolutely terrified of getting her nails trimmed, which indicates they were NOT treating her as they should so I quit bringing her for that. Then, she had an ear infection. We waited over 30 minutes IN THE EXAM room for the doctor. Once Dr. McCaskill finally appeared he was VERY RUDE and said more about my dog's weight than her ear infection (she was a little overweight at the time).
