Review content:
I have for many years, and many more, used Dr. Scott Smith. He genuinely cares for his patients and their owners. Around the year 1999, or so, we were using Denham Springs Animal Hospital. Our dog had been having pain, confusion and other things happening. The Dr. there told us that due to her age she has probably fallen while trying to jump onto the bed and had injured her back. He gave her some pain medicine and told us to bring her back in a week for a check up. Two or three days later she was found at 2:00 in the morning having a seizure. No one could be reached at that hospital so we took a chance and called Dodge City, which we had never used. Dr. Smith told us to meet him immediately at the clinic and he was there with the lights on before we got there. He calmed her seizure and said she did not have a back injury and all of her past symptoms pointed to brain cancer. After a discussion about our options we decided not to let her suffer for a few days under observation
