I am a 2nd generation client of this practice. My parents began visiting Dr. MC Helouin in the 1960's before I was born. I have patronized a lot of vets in BR over the years as I have fostered animals for CAAWS, APAWS, and have had a number of my own pets. I like a lot of veterinarians in this town, but I take my own pets to Carl Helouin. Yes, their practice is wildly busy at times and they aren't infallible (who isn't), but Carl really knows his stuff and I trust him more than any other vet I've gotten to know. \r

One Sunday, my little 9 yr. old mini-dachshund had a major seizure. I called Carl at home, told him what was happening and he asked me if I was calm enough to drive Photon to the clinic. I said yes and quickly met him and Dr. Brent Helouin there. My poor little dog was still violently seizing when I got there 15mins. later. I was scared to death. They quickly went to work on stabilizing him and Dr. Brent took Photon home with him on an iv Valium drip and cared for
