I have had many years experience with vets/animal hospitals and the like ... I also hold a medical degree. As with all health issues, you must be an informed advocate for your 'child' and you must include the idea that people are not perfect, they make mistakes and there are regrettable outcomes. Sadly, there are some jerks out there that one should recognise asap ... and avoid them.\r

Get the picture in your head that you should be the Vets' partner in the care of your 'kidlet'.The key to good care is having your own, solid knowledge and the ability of pushing for a second, third or fourth opinion. A sick critter can be just as much an emotional roller-coaster ride as a sick child.\r

Having said all that ... long and boring as it was ... I am completely satisfied with the care and professionalism I have seen at WHAH. The staff from a-z has been the best in my experience to date and it was apparent that our cocker and abbyssinian were most comfortable in their care. The cost for diag
