We had a very bad experience with Garfield Animal Hospital this last Monday. We went there because our dog was bitten by more than one tick and I was worried that he might have contracted Lyme disease or something worse. I called Garfield Animal Hospital and they told me over the phone that they can administer the preventative Lyme disease shot to my dog and take some of his blood for a blood test. When we saw the veterinarian, Dr. Mohammed, he did not let us ask him any questions about our dogs condition, and when we tried to explain to him how, when, where and what happened to our dog he just did not care. He was very tense about something that he heard on the news and did not pay us any attention. To my even more surprise he refused to do a blood test and the preventative Lyme disease shot. In the end he told me that my dog is fat and he has bad teeth. My dog is and always has been in tip top shape. If I didn't have bad teeth and a big belly I would of thought he was just talking no
