my dog and i were new clients to the area and he needed to be updated on his shots. i called around and found them to be much cheaper than anyone else so i set up an appt. well i found out why they were so much cheaper, they told me that my dog's leptospirosis vaccine was unnecessary and so was his heartworm check! they said that it was rare for a dog to contract lepto and that there is no need for the vaccine! they also told me that because my dog was on heartworm prevention he didn't require a heartworm check! i told them that i did my best to make sure i was doing it correctly every month but wanted him checked. they once again told me it was unnecessary and wouldn't do it! i was outraged and found a new vet. they did not care about proper medicine or the full protection of my dog
