Review content:
If you need emergency services, this place will do. Be prepared to pay top dollar. If you're seeking the advice of an oncologist, well, let's just say that (I felt) we were given a hard-sell. The doc we saw had poor bedside manners with a smattering of condescension thrown in for good measure. The treatment route suggested by the oncologist was (pardon the pun), overkill. The fact that it would have put a heavy burden on our finances AND maim our dog seemed of little consequence to her. (Yes, sometimes desperate measures are called but certainly not in every case.) We sought the opinion of a second oncologist -- who suggested a less aggressive approach -- we went with his advice and all came out well! Don't let fear tactics scare you into something you may not need do. Take a deep breath and, if needed, get a second opinion.
