Review content:
My dog had blood tests done and the vet said they had called numerous times but were not able to reach me. I had left my cell phone number with them, but they kept calling my landline and my answering machine is broken. They should have called my cell phone since it was an emergency. I went to take my dog, Lucy, in for another check up and two days later she was diagnosed with cancer. Three times, the doctor was looking at the wrong file. Once he finally got Lucy's file, he told my mom she was probably going to die that day and that Lucy needed to be put to sleep immediately. I go to school in New York and my mom called me while she was in the doctor's office. She told the doctor that I would be flying home the next morning to say goodbye to Lucy. I heard the doctor raise his voice to her, saying "So, you're going to take her home IN PAIN and let her DIE like that SUFFERING???" At such an emotional, hurtful time that was NOT a way to respond to someone who has spent 15 years with this
