Animal Specialty Group is the only place I bring my pets! These are the same vets that did the original surgery for my one of my dogs in 2008 and I was very confident and comfortable on the day of surgery. They explained everything thoroughly about the lack of blood flow and the best long term treatment being removal of the infected plate. My dog had an infection from prior surgery due to her opening the stitches and exposing the plate. The staff was great. Frita, who taught me how to give my dog the IV of antibiotics, let me use my own dog as a guinea pig. They walked me through it step by step and letting me do the work knowing my dog has absolute trust in me. I was given line by line discharge instructions and felt confident in taking her home. She was able to come home with me the same day and that made me feel great because this came a few weeks after the death of my father. The staff was very compassionate at this difficult time for me and I can't thank them enough for helping m
