As a customer, I have never been so disregarded and have never received poorer service at a place of business before. I purchased a bridesmaids dress from Pearl's Place and was informed that the alterations would be included. I was instructed to come to Pearl's Place between opening and 2pm in order to be measured by a seamstress. I reside 86 miles from Pearl's Place and have a newborn baby. I asked the receptionist if there would be any problem when I showed up for alterations and she assured me if i came in, I would receive service. The first day I drove to Pearl's Place, I was told they would not be seeing any more customers for alterations that day and was asked to return the following day. I informed her that i lived 87 miles away and had just driven in town to have my dress altered. She promised that if i returned the following Saturday that a note would be placed on my dress for the workers to see and I would definitely be serviced.
