Took my dog to Westbrook for a visit with the intention to make an appointment to have her teeth cleaned. Her teeth were cleaned 1 year prior to the visit, so they weren't that bad. Westbrook gave me an estimate of between $800.00 and $1,000.00. I decided to go back to my original vet and have the cleaning done. My final bill there was $225.00; quite a big difference! My only reason for changing vets was because Westbrook was closer. Turns out that it is much less expensive to go back to my original vet. My original vet, All Creatures Animal Hospital, is a very well respected animal clinic, so it isn't a situation where I was taking my dog to a clinic that wasn't as good as Westbrook. In the end, I felt that WESTBROOK ANIMAL HOSPITAL IS VERY, VERY OVERPRICED! Be sure to shop price before using Westbrook!
