Rick Doyle, owner of American Breeders, locations in Wappinger Falls, NY; Lake Mohegan, NY and Danubry, CT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN AND HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS TREATMENT OF DOGS. On Sunday, i bought a puppy from them for my daughter that worked her heart out throughout the school year to get a puppy, within 18 hrs of having the puppy home i had to rush her to emergency care; she is diagnosed with parvovirus, pneumonia and worms and has a low chance of making it. I called Mr. Doyle, unfortunately, he is very well aware of his rights and does not care. I SHOULD HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK BEFORE HAND BUT AM A TRUSTING PERSON...... Mr. Doyle was shut down in 2003-2004 for selling dogs illegally out of buildings in Mahopac, NY; A doctor (director) of the Sleepy Hollow Animal Hospital stated that since 1981 he has treated more ill puppies and more with congenital abnormalities that were sold from Doyle's kennel than from any other retailer in the region.
