Review content:
My boiler broke in October. I was assured that since I had platinum contract, there would be no service charge. The service man came out and was able to tell me I had a leak (I could have told him that since my basement floor was covered in water.) He then shut down the boiler, and left telling me it wasn't safe to operate, and we had to make do with space heaters and the fireplace. I was then sent a bill for $165.00 service charge and told it would cost $5200.00 to replace the boiler. I hired my own service person to install a new boiler for a total of $3500 (parts and labor). I'm looking for a new oil company- any suggestions?
