The facility is nice. Fish tank in the front waiting room, clean office, higher end pet food and products. It is overpriced by 40% for prescription drugs versus Pet Meds.\r \r Our young dog was diagnosed with cancer and Dr. Wheaton removed it. We had a bad experience though. Dr. Wheaton was insensitive and had poor people skills. He said we were too sensitive and to "put ear plugs in" when our dog came home yelping and hyperventilating from surgery for 3 days straight. He didn't give us options so we took her into an urgent care multiple times over the next couple of days and those doctors/surgeons didn't agree with Dr. Wheaton and gave her sedatives and medicine so she would sleep in peace while recovering. \r \r If we didn't have the surgery experience with Dr. Wheaton (i.e. just normal check-ups) we would still go. Just pray that you don't have to deal with this doctor during a major animal crisis. Our new vet in Huntington Beach is all about the animals, reasonably priced and
