Purchased a certified used vehicle from Lane, was told to come back for detailing of the vehicle and paint protection to be applied (since there was nobody there that day in the service department). We returned, requested the services we were told we would get, and also requested an oil change (since we had noticed the last oil change was three months/3000 miles ago). The General Manager (i believe that is what they were calling him) refused to give us our 'free oil change' because the vehicle said the oil life was 85%. We explained that anyone could reset the oil life setting and that we were going off of the sticker the vehicle had on it that had said when the last oil change was. He then got frustrated and told us that the only person that can change the oil life setting is a technician. I then hopped into the vehicle (mind you, a vehicle this general manager says he owns himself) and resetted the oil life setting myself by a push of a button. So, he tried to pull a fast one on us -
