Last week, I took my Fusion to the Body Shop at North Bros. Ford in Westland for body work following an accident for which I had to pay the deductible. Since I am new to the area, I chose North Bros. mainly for its location. My experience with the people in the body shop was a good one. When I picked up my car, I was happy with the outcome and how I was treated as a customer. I knew, at that time, that when my lease expires this summer, I would go to North Bros. to buy or lease my next vehicle. \r

However, there was a problem when I paid my deductible of $550. The woman told me that my debit card would not go through. She tried twice, so I ended up paying with a check. The next day, when I checked my bank account online, there were 2 pending debits for $550, tying up $1100 of my checking account...plus they had my check for $550. After several phone calls back and forth between my bank and the dealership, I finally got us all on a three-way call, as no one was willing to assume respon
