I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THE STURGEON RIVER KENNELS. WE HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY TRIP TO PA IN FEBRUARY FOR MY HUSBANDS SISTER'S FUNERAL AND HAD TO GIVE ROSE ANDERSON, THE OWNER, SHORT NOTICE TO BOARD OUT DOG AND MY DAUGHTER'S DOG. ROSE WAS SO VERY ACCOMODATING. OUR DOG NEEDS SPECIAL FOOD BECAUSE SHE'S QUITE OLD. ROSE HAD NO PROBLEM FEEDING KATY WHAT SHE WAS USED TO EATING. WHEN WE ARRIVED AT THE KENNELS, THESE ARE THE CLEANEST KENNELS I HAVE EVER SEEN. EACH STALL IS QUITE LARGE WITH A DOOR THA T OPENS IN TO A RUN . IN THE CASE OF KATY, SHE IS AFRAID OF OTHER DOGS SO ROSE LET HER RUN BY HERSELF AND NOT WITH THE OTHER DOGS. THE STALLS ARE CLEANED DAILY AND YOU NEVER SMELL ANY OBNOXIOUS ODORS NO MATTER WHAT TIME YOU STOP IN. SHE ALSO PROVIDES A NICE BLANKET OR HOME MADE LAP AFGHAN FOR EACH ANIMAL PLUS SOME TOYS. I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND HER KENNELS TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE.
