I have personally danced at Nancy's school from when I was 2 1/2 until I was eighteen. I moved to Long Beach for college, but still tried to ake it out to perform at the yearly recitals or teach classes during the summer. Being apart of the competititon team and performing for Nancy Doize School of Dance was an experience that shaped my life. Without the discipline and dance family in my life I would not be where I am at now. I have made it far in very tough competitions and auditions. I currently have been selected for a lead role out here at LBCC, with there accrediated dance program. Without the past technique that was taught to me throughout my life at Nancy'sI would not have made it as a lead. If you do not make the competition team, it is just meant to make you push harder for your goals. Nancy's selective process is meant to teach the dancer that yes you may think your the best out there but your may not always make it. Dance is a learning experience, through failure and accompl
