I've been to Blue Cross Animal Hospital with my dog, rabbit, and cats. Here's my take on them. Blue Cross Animal Hospital doesn't charge an arm and a leg for things like many other local vets seem to. A couple of other vets I've visited charge like $35 right off the bat before they've even touched your pet! Cha-Ching! I've gotten good allergy care for my dog at Blue Cross. They also neutered a bunny I had for a much lower price than other places. They also helped one of the semi-feral cats from a cat colony that I take care of. Other places were unwilling to see these wild cats. Blue Cross has also done toe nail clipping for free. They don't charge as much for medicines and they give you samples much more readily than other places. They will see you without an appointment however you MUST be prepared to wait. The wait can take as long as two hours if you don't have an appointment. I've never been sent away because I didn't have an appointment. I like that about them.
