Don't take your birds/reptiles/rodents here. They don't know what they are doing with them. I took my bird in when it started having seizures, and the vet euthanized him without my consent. I signed a form allowing him to perform "triage" on my pet, and as soon as I turned it in they put my bird down, called me back, and apologized for my loss.\r They had wanted to give the bird sugar, which is not an appropriate treatment for much of anything avian-related. They simply didn't know what to do and thought my bird was suffering, so they took it upon themselves to end his life. Having my bird die is bad enough, but now I am left with the question of whether he could have been saved. Like I said, don't bring exotic animals here.
