I took my vehicle in for a rotation noise near the tire. Over the phone I was quoted $50 for a diagnositc check to see whats wrong. After paitiently waiting an hour and a half I went up to the desk to see what was taking so long. He said " I am working up your estimate now". I said well can you at least tell me what is wrong. He stated its over $1800 worth of work. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My car is 16 years old and not even worth that much. He came back with a laundry list of items that HAD to be replaced. Even went as far as saying, I shouldnt be driving the car. I said Please take my car off the lift and I left. My father is a mechanic and I called to tell him about the experience. I took to another shop in Laurel, who checked the exact same problem and came back with only one piece that needed to be fixed. A $220 repair. THIS PLACE IS A HUGE RIPOFF!! Dont ever take your vehicle there. They lie, they are shady. OH, and my $50 quote over the phone for diagnositc ended up being $70.
