I will never use Banfield again. My cat was dying of kidney failure and we opted to euthanize her. It was the worst experience of my life. I thought the decision was sound, but the way it was handled was horrible.\r \r They told me they would take her in the back to put the IV in and then bring her back. I told them I wanted to be there when she was sedated and when she passed on. I was assured I could be. WITHOUT CONSULTING ME FIRST, they used a sedative because they were having trouble getting the IV in. So when they brought her back she was senseless and out of it. I never got to say goodbye to her. She was just lying there with her tongue hanging out. I wanted to comfort her. She couldn't even see me.\r \r After it was over and she was dead, the vet tech told me that she would give us some time with her alone, then she would personally check us out. When we came out, we had to wait 10 minutes with NO ONE there and then the lady (not the vet tech) at the desk said "oh, do yo
