Longwood Vet Center is the best! We've been with them since they opened and have received 12 years of wonderful care for our dogs and for the rescue dogs we bring in for treatment. As coordinator for a dog rescue organization that helps dogs all over the USA, I can honestly say that the team at Longwood is one of the best in the country. The skills they have are more than you would normally find in a local vet hospital, and Dr. Strine's exceptional surgery has saved several of our own dogs. When an older dog was in critical condition and the cost was estimated to be very high and risky, they were non-judgemental and said that it wouldn't be wrong to decide not to go for the surgery. When we did, it was totally successful and that dog is still thriving several years later. The entire staff is very caring and it is a delight to have them treat our dogs. When we have had to euthanize our dear pets, they have always been compassionate and sympathetic, making the experience less of
