Review content:
Twice I've gone into Bob at the Howell Mr Muffler after my daughter or I receiving a quote from a big chain for ten times more on my 2000 Chevy Tracker. \r
\r
The last big price difference was when my daughter was told by a 'gold' shop that they could not fix her exhaust system for under $1200.00 on a 150,000 mile Tracker . . . . after a little time making minor repairs with the torch and welder Bob had me on the road for under $100! \r
\r
I would even say that if Bob were up to 20% higher than a big chain on a standard maintenance item (shocks, brakes, etc) I would still go with him because of the quality and integrity of the service. At the margins big corporate chains buy at; they are probably still making much more on the job.\r
\r
Of course, I have brought my car in a few times and Bob has made a quick fix for no charge! Can't beat that!\r
