Review content:
I was having problems wearing certain shoes, due to a neuroma. Dr Martin performed a neuroma procedure on my foot, in which he went in and removed it. 9 months later, my foot is way worst than before. There is what appears to be a chunk of nerve pressing on the bottom of my foot. You can see the lump there. It feels like ?small sparks? every time I walk, and 3 of my toes go numb. \r
Due to being laid off, my insurance lapsed shortly after the surgery. Because it has been over 6 months, I was told that ?I would have to self pay in order for him to even take a look at it.? Without insurance and no job, I couldn?t afford to do that. So I went to Cook County Hospital seeking treatment. Thank heavens for them.\r
Cook County Hospital told me that I will need to bring them a copy of my medical records before setting a surgery date. So I called Dr. Martin?s office again and asked for my medical records. I was told that ?I would have to pay a $300.00 dept from the surgery last year
