Businiess name:  VCA Village Animal Hospital

Review content:
Village animal hospital is below par to every other vet that we have visited. We have 5 cats and have been to many vets as two of them have cardiac and kidney problems. First, upon arrival we were handed paperwork to fill out, mostly financial, which I found tacky. While we were filling it out, the receptionist/tech repeatedly said "we don't accept checks for first time visits". I said okay the first time but she felt she had to mention it three more times until I said, are you asking me how I am going to pay? Again, this is beyond tacky. Second, the doctors are very unfriendly, they give the impression that your animal is just that, an animal an not a member of the household. They showed little patience with my kitty nor tolerance when she was too frightened to get out of the carrier. The third complaint I have about this practice is the cost. Let me mention that we have spent well over $30,000 on the care of our cats, so cost never played an issue until we went to this practice. Almo
