Until I was introduced to the warm, welcoming and talented stylists and staff people at Blades Salon, I had considered getting a haircut sheer drudgery. My former stylist was habitually late, self-centered and arrogant. When a friend suggested that I try Blades four years ago, I was more comfortable during my first appointment than I had ever felt at a beauty salon. The elegant decor - Victorian surroundings filled with flowers - is a fitting backdrop to the charm and charisma of the people who make Blades a respite in a world that has forgotten about the pleasantries of customer service. When I brought my daughter and her bridesmaids to prepare for her wedding, everyone raved about the talented stylists, the delightful setting, and the true concern for making clients look terrific and - perhaps even more important - feel pretty and pampered.
